Norwegian Film Institute
Norwegian Film Institute (NFI) supports and promotes the Norwegian film, TV and video game industry.
NFI allocates funding for the development, production, launch, and dissemination of Norwegian films, series, and video games. Our annual funding budget is over 650 million NOK. We are responsible for the cultural export of Norwegian audiovisual productions and provide support for their international promotion. NFI grants funding for co-production of films and series with international main producers.
The NFI also manages the Norwegian incentive scheme for film and series productions and the Sørfond which provides funding for co-productions between Norwegian minority producers and main producers in countries on the OECD's DAC list.
